Hosted by Bruce Reynolds, founder of International Black Heritage Month, powered by Lab Legacy. Bruce is also the President of the University of the Arts London (UAL) East Coast Alumni Association.

Plus, hear about his recent brand identity work for Ben’s Best Blnz (B3), founded by Ben Cohen, co-founder of iconic Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. B3, is a new mission-centered brand, that will invest profits into Black community and groups advocating criminal justice reform.
Eddie Opara is an award-winning multi-faceted designer and Partner at New York-based Pentagram. He studied graphic design at the London College of Printing (LCP), and has won awards that include the Gold Cube from the Art Directors Club and honors from D&AD and Tokyo Type Directors Club. His clients have included Lululemon athletica, and Samsung.

Bruce Reynolds is the President of the UAL East Coast Alumni Association and a Social Impact and Brand Marketing Specialist. He studied business of fashion at London College of Fashion (LCF), and his global point of view and cultural impact lens has led him to work with brands that include Fenty, Nike, Adidas, Givenchy, H&M, and General Motors. He created the world’s first International Black Heritage Month (IBHM), in 2021, as a positive movement after the events of George Floyd.
IBHM is an annual event in June celebrating black cultures worldwide, educating on diversity, and promoting unity from all people in service of a more just and inclusive world.
